ZERO TO SIXTY… Race car-Pro fighter versus VW-Novice Fighter! WHO WINS? by Hock Hochheim

ZERO TO SIXTY…
Race car-Pro fighter versus VW-Novice Fighter!
WHO WINS?
The VW can and here’s who, what, where, when, how and why…
I have always been interested in the concept of zero to sixty in fights, crime and war. “Zero to sixty” refers to the time it takes for a vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour. It’s a common metric used to measure a vehicle’s acceleration performance. We know race cars kill at the increase and Volkswagons? Well…not so much.

So there’s a race (fight) between the two. The starter’s gun goes off. But the race car driver’s foot is lazy, and he pushes the gas pedal to only 30 MPH! Meanwhile the old VW driver crushes the pedal and does a whopping 35 MPH. AND? The VW wins! All that super car beaten by a wimp mobile? Why? Zero to sixty.

In fights, crimes and war, acceleration counts. I think we can see that these days from the numerous internet videos. He-she who hits the gas pedal hard and fast usually whoops the slower poke, no matter the streamlined size and slickness of the “race car.” I have seen the same in arrest and investigations.

Yes, yes, yes, there are times of progressive caution (the “when”) but so, so often when the race starts, zero to sixty crosses the finish line, El Firsto.
