11: IMPACT Negotiation

The fields of Professional Negotiation and Mediation are some of the fastest growing in law, business and politics. Major universities are now offering degrees in Conflict Resolution because there's a pressing need both personally and professionally to possess these skills.

Many companies now require all personnel managers to attend conflict resolution classes. Most employees must take some form of conflict management as part of their ongoing training. Many people train as professionals to work in various aspects of private consulting as a negotiator as a primary or secondary source of income. Once trained, it's a field that pays extremely well.

Whether you intend to use these skills professionally or personally, the information contained in the I.M.P.A.C.T. DVD set will benefit A-N-Y-O-N-E in E-V-E-R-Y aspect of their lives--for the rest of their lives.

However, let me make this VERY CLEAR. This video series is about SIT-DOWN Negotiation in LEGAL, BUSINESS or PERSONAL SETTINGS. These are LIFE SKILLS. This IS NOT about COMBAT or BAR ROOM Negotiation. For the best results, a time commitment and willingness to negotiation on both sides is required. That said--the IMPACT Negotiation series does contain skills that would be extremely helpful in any intensely confrontational setting.

Unless you are police or military, real-life combat scenarios are rare. However, negotiation skills are used on some level every single day. We think our savvy clients know and appreciate this. That's why we are listing this course at our site.

Kay Elliot is a master at negotiation and mediation and we are proud to have produced this program with her.
